Support for decision making is the term used to describe the ways of providing support to people to make decisions and remain in control of their lives.

The NDIA invites you to come along and find out how you can have your say on developing a policy framework for Support for Decision Making. The NDIA want to hear from participants, families, carers and other supports about what you think will make this work for everyone.

The NDIA have released a discussion paper to outline our proposed strategy for improving support for decision making and the framework for how we think about support for decision making.

In this session the NDIA will:
Walk you through the Support for Decision Making consultation currently underway
Talk about our why and how we developed the discussion paper
Provide information on how you can share your ideas and feedback
The session will cover topics relevant to participants, nominees, families and carers.

Providers are welcome to come along and are also encouraged to make a submission via the NDIA website.
