Gain an understanding of how supported decision-making enables people with cognitive disabilities to participate in making decisions about their own lives.
Workshop participants will:
Build an understanding of supported decision-making
Develop insights into their own decision-making preferences and practices
Identify the roles they may have in support for decision-making
Understand the steps, principles and strategies of support for decision- making
Apply support for decision-making principles to their current work practice
The online workshop will run for 2.5 hours allowing for 30 minutes of Q&A at the end.
