Employment and volunteering
Customised Employment is an evidence-based and highly successful approach to finding meaningful, award-wage employment for people with a developmental disability.

In this online workshop, you will hear:
* Ideas for moving from an Australian Disability Enterprise (ADE) to Customising Employment
You will hear how services have gradually moved people into meaningful employment, one person at a time (it is possible!). Milton will also explain what it will take to build the workforce needed to do this nuanced work.

* The Big Picture
This workshop will help families understand the bigger picture in the ever-evolving landscape of employment support.

* Authenticity over ambiguity
In a world where terms get adopted and distorted (hello, ‘Inclusive’!), we’ll help you spot who’s walking the walk, not just talking the talk. After this presentation, you’ll know how to identify genuine Customised Employment support, not just surface-level offerings.

* Customised Employment works!
We’ll share stories from Australia and the USA about families that have successfully applied the principles of Customised Employment.
