Enjoy our popular introductory School to Work webinars for a limited time. Watch or rewatch in preparation for our new School to Work webinar series about Customised Employment (coming in May 2022).
Our foundational School to Work webinars guide families to help their students imagine, discover and find valued work roles. Webinars are relevant for secondary school students and include:
Imagining Work
- Relevant for students in or about to begin Years 7-8
- One 60-minute workshop + helpful accompanying resources
- The full webinar has been broken down into a series of shorter, topic-based videos for easier watching
Discovering Work
- Relevant for students in or about to begin Years 9-10
- One 90-minute workshop + helpful accompanying resources
- The full webinar has been broken down into a series of shorter, topic-based videos for easier watching
Finding Work
- Relevant for students in Years 11-12 and recent school leavers
- Two 90-minute workshops + helpful accompanying resources
- Each webinar has been broken down into a series of shorter, topic-based videos for easier watching
All four of our School to Work webinars are available to enjoy on-demand from 9:00 AM AEDT Monday, 14 March until 5:00 PM AEDT Monday, 19 April 2022.
Our webinars are free and you’ll have 24/7 access to enjoy them at a time that suits you. Each webinar has been published in sections less than 10 minutes long to make it easier for you to find and watch the sections that interest you most. There are also plenty of resources to help you take action.
Our introductory webinars were recorded in August 2021. We are releasing new School to Work webinars in May 2022.
Who should watch these webinars?
The information in this series is primarily for families. People with disability, career advisers, school staff, and services that support people with disability will also gain much from watching.
You are very welcome to register for this event, no matter where you are located. Please note that some information in these webinars may be specific to the Australian Capital Territory.
