The Opening Opportunities conference was a two-day national conference exploring employment opportunities for people with disability. It featured speakers, including families, young people with disability, and professionals from Australia and overseas who have opened opportunities using an approach called Customised Employment.
Customised Employment is a tried and true method when implemented with integrity and has been used locally and internationally. During the conference, attendees saw abundant evidence that it’s an approach that works. Our speakers shared their lived experiences of customising employment and provided practical tips for immediate implementation.
If you weren’t in the audience, here’s your opportunity to watch every presentation on demand. We can’t reproduce the wonderful atmosphere and rich conversations that occurred over the two days, but this is the next best option!

The presentations will be released gradually in the order that they occurred in the conference schedule, along with the resources our speakers made available.
