National Disability Services (NDS) is hosting a Webinar on Business Continuity when living with COVID on Thursday 19 May, 2.00pm-3.00pm.
The Webinar will provide a presentation from Mahashini Krishna (NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission) on COVID 19 Person Centred Emergency Preparedness and the Commissions expectations.
Simon Edwards (NDIA) will follow Mahashini with a presentation on contingency planning for winter. Simon’s presentation will focus on the importance in developing plans now and what must be included plans (e.g. infection control, PPE, workforce options, communications etc.). He will emphasise the value in testing plans prior to needing them, and the supports available from the Agency to help providers prepare. Simon will also introduce the Agency’s provider of workforce supports, GenU.
