January school holiday events for young carers
Carers ACT will be running some free school holiday events for young carers over January!
Young carers are people up to the age of 25 who provide unpaid care to a family member or friend that lives with disability, a physical or mental illness or a person who is frail with age.
Most events are open to young people between ages 10-25.
• Terrarium Workshop: 2-4pm Friday 7 January
• Barbeque at Kambah Adventure Playground: 12-3pm Friday 14 January
• Burger n Beer Night: 7-9pm Wednesday 19 January
• Online ‘Among Us’ Game: 2-4pm Thursday 20 January
• Encanto Viewing at Dendy Cinema: Monday 24 January (Time TBD)
• Escape Room & Bowling at Kingpin: 12-3pm Thursday 27 January
