Disability at Work Conference - for employment service providers
Tue 13 Oct 2020
Virtual Event
Employment and volunteering
Registrations are now open for the Disability at Work and Workability International Conference “Disability employment in a digital world”. This year’s Conference is a one-day Virtual Event and is a completely new format for the NDS flagship event on disability employment. In addition, the conference is aimed at a global audience currently grappling with the consequences of one of the most tumultuous events in recent decades.
Some of the reasons you should attend the “Disability employment in a digital world” Virtual Conference:
You will have the opportunity to access all presentations given during the event, either live or later at your convenience
High profile keynote and plenary speakers will present on a range of current topics affecting the international labour market
In addition to keynote and plenary speakers, there are three concurrent presentation streams, including open employment/transition to work, supported employment and a stream featuring international presenters.
The interaction of digital technology and the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on labour markets worldwide is of great relevance for local and overseas service providers.
NDS are pleased to announce that a high profile overseas presenter has already been confirmed for the Conference.
Registration funding for people with disability
NDS has received funding from the Australian Government Department of Social Services to assist people with disability (together with their carer) to attend the conference. Expression of interests can be lodged via the conference website until 18 September 2020.
View the draft Conference program and register for the Conference now! Early Bird registrations close 5pm Friday, 11 September 2020.
The initial Conference program is on the NDS website, you can register for the Conference now.
