James O'Hehir - Finalist for the 2019 Chief Minister's Inclusion Awards

James O’Hehir is a finalist for Emerging Young Leader at the 2019 Chief Minister’s Inclusion Awards!

James O’Hehir, who has autism, started dance classes with Kulture Break as a quiet and withdrawn boy. He has since developed into a confident and outgoing singer, dancer and leader in the Elevate Music program.

He is the Inclusion Ambassador for Kulture Break and provides guidance and friendship to young people in the organisation.

A the most senior member of Kulture Break's Man Up boys mentoring program, he actively supports and encourages the other participants, particularly the young boys who have endured bullying or have a disability.

James is currently studying a Certificate in Childcare, to continue actively caring for children and young people.
