Donna Rowbotham - Finalist for the 2019 Chief Minister's Inclusion Award
Donna Rowbotham is a finalist for the Inclusion in Public Sector Employment award at the 2019 Chief Minister’s Inclusion Awards!
Donna is an EL1 Manager in the Chief Information Officer Group of the Australian Government Department of Defence. For a number of years, she has been advocating for improved service and access to assistive technology for Defence employees with disability. Her work includes advocating for the testing of software and hardware that is functional, fit for the purpose and allowing for increased choice for users with disability.
Donna regularly thinks outside of the square to investigate alternative options and solutions to ensure individuals can add value to their workplace. She has the ability to develop good rapport and trust with staff, providing realistic expectations of what can be achieved and keeping staff up to date on the developments of their requests.
